ABOUT SSC – MULTI TASKING STAFF(MTS)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) SSC MTS Exam is a national level exam held for recruitment of personnel in General Group-C Central Service non-ministerial and non-gazetted posts in various departments, ministries, and offices of the Government of India. . ELIGIBILITY OR QUALIFICATION

Basic criteria that candidates need to fulfill in order to meet SSC MTS eligibility 2020 are:

AGE LIMIT AND AGE RELAXATION

Candidate’s age limit should not exceed 27 years or minimum age is 18 years

01 SC/ST -27 + 5 years extra

02 OBC-27 + 3 years extra

03 PH -27 + 10 years extra

04 PH+OBC -27 + 13 years extra

05 PH+ SC/ST -27+ 15 years extra

06 Ex serviceman (unreserved /General) -27+ 3 years extra

Application for SSC( MTS)

Visit the SSC Official website.

Click on the ‘Notice’ tab and search for Application Form.

Read the instructions carefully before filling the application form.

Provide the necessary details such as Name, Date of Birth, mail ID, Phone number etc. these details are necessary for the completion of the registration process.

A registration Id and Password will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number and mail ID.

SSC MTS Application

With the Registration Id and Password provided, login to the registered account on the official website to complete the application form filling.

Provide the necessary details asked such as Personal and education details.

Upload the education certificates, colored photograph and signature.

Set up the security question as per your choice.

Move to the payment page to pay the SSC MTS application fee.

EXAM PATTERN

The staff selection commission started taking Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)  in  two  levels for various posts

Paper 1

Paper 1 is an objective type paper

Papper 1 is divided into 4 sections with 25 questions in each section carrying 1 mark

In the paper 1 there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark from each wrong attempt

The time duration is  allowed 90 minutes all the candidates 120 minutes for PWD candidates

Paper 2

Paper 2 of SSC (MTS) is a descriptive paper conducted offline  .i.e. pen  and paper based exam  candidates elementary language skills are tested in this paper

Candidates are required to write a short essay or latter on a given topic in 30 minutes

Candidates are allowed to write this paper in any of the language Hindi/ English or any regional language include the in the eighth schedule of the constitution of India.
